The final quarter-final match of the Women Warriors Wrestling Championship Tournament would determine who advances to face Koven in the semi-finals. Standing in the way of Hurricane Jess was former WWE World Tag Team Champion and respected trainer Eugene Dinsmore.

From the outset, Jess appeared tense. Across the ring stood a seasoned veteran with championship pedigree and decades of ring awareness. Eugene initially approached cautiously, almost light-hearted — but Jess wasn’t interested in easing into anything. She fired off sharp elbows, making it clear she came to fight.

Eugene responded with experience.

Catching her arm during an exchange, he subtly shifted momentum. Even without an official present, his veteran instincts showed as he pulled her down by the hair in a moment of calculated aggression. He attempted to slow the pace and establish control, but Jess kicked him away and managed to take him down, briefly gaining the upper hand.

That moment didn’t last long.

Using his superior positioning and mat awareness, Eugene reversed and secured top control, methodically wearing Jess down. Every scramble seemed to cost her more energy. She fought back to her feet, even finding herself on top and attempting a pin after landing a few strikes while Eugene showed signs of discomfort.

But the former champion adjusted.

Eugene countered and attempted to lock in a Boston Crab. Jess resisted, fighting desperately to prevent it from being fully applied. As he transitioned toward a guillotine choke, Jess drove him into the corner to break the hold. Still, Eugene remained relentless. He took her down again and locked in a tight cross-legged head-and-arm submission, cutting off her air and limiting her movement.

Jess struggled. She tried to turn, to escape, to survive — but Eugene stayed composed, transitioning smoothly into a punishing crossface and rolling through into a pin attempt before reapplying pressure. Exhaustion had clearly set in.

With nowhere to go and unable to breathe under the sustained control, Hurricane Jess tapped out.

Eugene rose to his feet and celebrated emphatically, declaring, “I can beat any woman in this room!”

At Team Vision Dojo, that’s a bold statement.

Because waiting in the semi-finals is Koven — and she has already proven she isn’t intimidated by size, experience, or reputation.

The Women Warriors Wrestling Championship Tournament now moves into its semi-final round.

And Eugene Dinsmore will have to back up his words.
